Bisexuality 101. Understand a tad bit more the « B » of LGBTQIA

I have for ages been bisexual. Despite the fact that like people I became socialized being a heterosexual and feminine individual, my first « sexual awakenings » (those very very first experiencies of admiration, infatuation and intimate excitation) inside my youth happened with females. Me give little importance to my fascination with women and the feminine as I was at the same time conscious about my attraction to boys, my heterosexual socialization made.

After many years ”and more awakenings that are unperceived ”I realized that perhaps we’d be thinking about « being » with a lady. wen the beginning I did not take to any such thing, so when we had non straight crushes we felt intimidated and really buga* for them. They noticed that I also liked women, but we never talked about it in a straightforward manner when I had boyfriends. Sooner or later my very very first non buga relationships (intimate, emotional) occurred, with both cisgender females and individuals outside of the binary sex range. Only that“finally “I could call myself bisexual after I had those experiences I told myself. (* Buga is really a jargon employed by LGBTQIA communities in Mexico to heterosexual individuals.)

Nowadays i am dubious of referring to other people to my bisexuality, since unfortuitously biphobia (the hate and discrimination toward bisexual individuals) is a genuine sensation (1). Read more…
